Vertex Office Connect server has the capability to route calls to another Vertex Office Connect server. Each office is assigned a range of extension numbers. Vertex Office Connect makes The extensions assigned to remote offices visible to home office like any other extension. Therefore any feature that can be used with an extension (e.g. transferring a call to an extension, conferencing another extension etc) can be used with remote extension as well. In the figure above extension 130 can call extension 140 by just dialing 3 digit extension. Extension 130 can also call extension 251 in another office just by dialing 3 digit extension.
